We were selling a mixture of car boot items, earrings made by Valerie, akabanga and the wonderful new cards made byJeanne in Rwanda.
I wouldn't have been able to do any of this without the help of George who kindly gave up half a day to help me set up and sell my wares. With his cheery patter he persuaded people to buy things they had no intention of buying!
The star of the show however was Christine and her lucky dips at 50p a go, no one could resist - there was even a lucky dip for dogs which proved to be very popular (some of the dogs chose their own items) Christine had spent hours collecting small items together and then wrapping them all up individually and labelling them and all for ABANA.
The lucky dip alone made £50 and altogether we made £152!!! fantastic.
I cant thank George and Christine enough for all their hard work.
The cards proved to be very popular, people were buying 5 at a time.
We plan to do something similar at Arnside family fun day on July 13th
